The hotel is lovely, the views are amazing and the facilities are amazing too! Sadly, this time it was disappointing. Some people don't seem to understand about wearing masks, hopefully this will be picked up. We do have all of the information available on our website as this is frequently updated as our procedures change and this may have been suggested for the most relevant information.
The only let down was the breakfast, very poor and bland, we went out for breakfast for our second morning even though we had breakfast included, I’m glad we didn’t book in the restaurant for dinner!Hello, Thank you for leaving a review with us.
We also hadnt realised indoor pool was open until late i suggested to receptionist we keep missing out on things all holiday would be lovely for a piece of paper in room just to give us a welcome times etc rules but said no sorry because of covid. She kept asking if we were a resident? Otherwise impressive location close to Torquay town centre, good views of Meadfoot bay and quiet. I fail to understand why one sheet of paper in a room will do any harm or am i missing something or could you put it on tv the one receptionist was not open to suggestions for benefit of the hotel. She didn't seem welcoming of any recommendation this would benefit future guests. We are pleased that you did enjoy your stay with us. We ordered our food just as the kitchen was closing but the staff said it was possible for our food to be made. Parking can be a little challenging sometimes. The lady on reception was curt and unfriendly (we were only asking if the loos were open) and the staff 'working' on the outdoor bar area were all standing around chatting. Just maybe the information and suggestions a bit to improve upon otherwise we may as well stay in the apartments also to be recognised as a guest as questioned a few by this same receptionist.Hello, Thank you for leaving a review and pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. We were issued a refund only for the meals they didn’t make and now we have to go out of our way to search for food for the people who didn’t get a meal. Someone within your party should have received an email from our restaurant manager to rectify this for you. When I asked about this the lady had an answer for everything, so not impressed.
