Remember that this is not a book for complete beginners as some knowledge of Java is assumed. Great book for someone who has a handle of basic Java and is interesting in programming for Android.

This book explains complex concepts with ease. I know like some said that this book is for beginner but while trying to understand how Android works, I read a couple of samples of book with my Kindle about the subject and this one is by far the best book to visually understand all the processes behind the interaction of your application and the system. I have gone through the first 4 chapters and I already have a better understanding of Android programming and has started on my own simple app.
