During their initial 14 years of existence (1973-1987), Journey altered their musical approach and their personnel extensively while becoming a top touring and recording band. I was just blown-away with Steve Perry's vocals - he never holds back and you can feel it in your heart that he is exposing his heart to his audience. These albums lean in a more progressive rock direction than the later Journey albums. This is an excellent way to get the first three Journey albums in one place.
