I'm actually appalled that his restaurant was recognized (or at least the owner of the restaurant) was recognized for a James Beard Award. Ambience was lovely and I can't wait to come back here once it reopens!Went to Fork for a post-graduation family lunch! Although the food does take a minute to prepare, it was perfectly cooked with a wonderful presentation and staff. All orders out by 10:15 pm. The bread and butter they give you are also delicious. I had the "This may sound silly, but traveling into town and finding a fast food restaurant to eat at when you're tired is not fun, but finding one that provides adequate paper plates or eat off of in the hotel really makes a big difference.…""If you want to get a decent lunch this is the place to go.
So when I was home visiting, we went out to dinner with my sister and her husband at this kind of "historic" place for my family. All of the Mediterranean foods were very good (Hummus, Tobouleh, Chicken Kabaob, Pita and a couple of other items. The Figure of Speech sounded tasty, but tasted like a cup full of lime juice. Showing up the menu is completely different.

Lobster Chips and Green Chile Enchiladas were wonderful. This visit I really wanted to try Fork and I'm glad I did. Another shiny object gained my attention. Not only do they have amazing food (we have tried way too many different things to list - and the menu changes frequently), they also have a number of awesome and unique cocktails (and one of the nicest bar staffs we have encountered since moving here).
I had an omelet which was forgettable. What an overrated restaurant. Wedding Party of 35 from Texas calls at 6 pm asked to be seated at 8 pm we close at 9 pm.
Good beers on tap, eclectic but healthy and delicious menu with Greek, Mexican, and American type dishes. After brunch, we hit the bakery in the restaurant next door which is one of the best in the old city. Please check with the restaurant directly. "Good luck in your one star life!" I would narrow it down as there is too much on there to stay focused in my opinion. Came here while visiting Philly and initially was a little overwhelmed by the menu since I'm vegetarian.
