A well reasoned argument that the government should not use it ability to pass laws that benefit some at the expense of others. The book is so profound yet very lucid in it's meaning, applicability and simply engrosses you with it's logic and simplicity. A nineteenth century translation of The Law, made in 1853 in England by an unidentified contemporary of Mr. Bastiat, was of much value as a check against this translation. One of the best books I've read on Money. I’m reading it myself as the contents seem enthralling - really worth the time
