Triumph - Live at the Us Festival You actually get to see Michael play during the solos - the camera is on him and doesn't change scenes every 1/2 second like many other DVDs out there.
All I can say is, if you are a Michael Schenker fan then you simply MUST own this.

It's hard-charging, basic stuff in the style, the songs often dealing with romantic temptation, threats, and ecstasy, though "How Long" alludes to the agony undergone by families with soldiers fighting prolonged wars. Then, in 2004, a video shot in Poland shows a hairy, bloated Michael who can barely rock in time for the first five or six songs.
If you like this genre of music you can do no wrong with this concert.

I rather liked his association with Robin McAuley, and find his neoclassical style to have evolved over the years. 2012 comes, and the long-awaited North American leg of the Temple of Rock tour finally came in the fall once again. I was lucky enough to see MS on this tour and he's playing better than ever - and looks to be enjoying it more than ever too! What else can I say?
Francis Bucholz's playing is barely audible and you never see his face on screen, not even one time! Phooey on the director for that! 4/5 of the early 80's Scorpions on the same stage for the first time in decades, yet not ONE shot of the 4 together in the same frame!
This is one awesome music DVD.

I have seen schenker twice with ufo and with his own band when cozy Powel whas with the bandthis is up there with them brilliant Williams Temple COGIC, Little Rock, AR, Little Rock, Arkansas. This release distinguishes itself from previous releases due to the line-up that includes Michael Schenker (lead guitar), Doogie White (vocals), Herman Rarebell (drums), Francis Buchholz (bass) and Wayne Findley (rhythm guitar, keyboards). He really holds the band together. This is one of my all time favorite concert DVDs. This is a brilliant blu-ray dvd !! I'm not a musician and don't understand or care about settings, pedals etc. Steve And the best thing is that they will be playing in town in a few days - I will be there. I've seen and heard better from Schenker over the many years, he made quite a few mistakes that night, but it happens live.

Great Blu-Ray, excellent sound and video, there is a 'box set' with some other concerts and extras on it available as well but this one was fine for me.
